The pure product is white odorless crystal. This product is pale yellow powder with pungent smell. It is stable at normal temperature, in medium acid or alkali and under ultraviolet radiation. Its melting point is 250-251oC, boiling point is 350oC (101325 Pa), and solubility in water is 0.6mg/kg. Its toxicity is low to human and livestock, but relatively more serious to fish.
